Nightlight Foster Care Program

Serves married couples that have been married at least two years and singles over the age of 21 who want to foster. The agency serves families from any faith background and training is not faith-based. Nightlight serves all counties in the Upstate and Midlands except Bamberg and Barnwell. Nightlight licenses all homes as non-therapeutic.
The training hours required to become licensed are a total of 24-26 hours completed prior to licensing and are completed online. 30 hours of recertification training are required during the 24-month licensing period. Training topics/scheduling are at the discretion of the family, however, families must be re-certified in CPR every year.
