Epworth

Serves married couples and singles who want to foster. The agency serves families from any faith background and training is not faith-based. Epworth serves most counties in the state.

Epworth licenses all homes as therapeutic, but serves/places children for families who choose to foster non-therapeutic children. If the situation arises, families may foster siblings in which one or more may be non-therapeutic and/or one or more may be therapeutic.

16 training hours per year are required to maintain the foster home license beyond the initial 2-year licensing period.

There are three trainings that are mandatory through Epworth for re-certification training and the remainder of the 32 hours within the 2-year licensing period are at the discretion of the foster parent/family.
